Living Topicals is a Health and Wellness Brand who keeps our customer’s well-being in mind. Our goal is to help everyone manage their pain and discomfort with our hand-crafted, all-natural herbal products. Pain can be debilitating. Pain can keep you from living your best life. Pain can keep you from doing activities like taking a long drive to visit friends or family, going shopping, going on walks or hikes, exercising at the gym, going for a bike ride, or playing in the backyard with your children or grandchildren. Pain can be due to a wide array of causes, such as Aching Sore Muscles, Arthritis, Achy Joints, Car Accidents, Common Sports and Exercise Injuries, Inflammation, Headaches, Menstrual Pain, Muscle Cramping, Neck Strain, Neuropathy, Old Injury, Pregnancy, Sciatica Back Pain, Surgery, Toothaches, and Work Injuries.
We know first-hand about pain and discomfort from injuries. The Herbal Salve was created for my wife after she had been in a car accident and needed an alternative pain relief option other than pills. We created an all-natural product that is reported to help with muscle and joint pain. We carefully selected the unique blend of herbs and flowers as ingredients in our products because of their natural anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Most pain sufferers prefer the Peppermint Salve pain stick because it's made with both peppermint essential oil and Menthol Crystals. The Menthol Crystals provide a relieving, cooling sensation and are reported to act as a counterirritant to reduce the sensation of pain. The Roll-On Pain-Stick design allows for a mess-free application, with no need to use your hands to apply it.
Yes! Not only are our Herbal Salves reported to help with muscle and joint pain, they've also been reported to help with minor skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. The special blend of herbs and flowers have healing properties and naturally are good for the skin. They promote healing of dry and cracked skin.
The peppermint herbal salve contains Peppermint Essential oil, Menthol, Almond Oil, Lavender Flower, Calendula Flower, Plantain Leaf, Beeswax, Lemon Balm, Willow Bark, and Vitamin E. Peppermint is antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral. When rubbed on the forehead or temples it is reported to help with headaches and migraine symptoms. The salve also contains menthol crystals which makes it soothing and cooling when applied. Menthol has a natural analgesic (pain reliever) when applied with the salve. Another reason menthol works so well when you rub it on those aching muscles is because it triggers a process called vasodilation. Blood vessels in the area widen, increasing blood flow to the area and reducing the skin barrier function. As a result, other medicinal ingredients typically found in that lotion along with the menthol get to work faster while the increased blood flow itself bring nutrients necessary for cellular repair and carry away waste.
Lavender essential oil is the most used essential oil in the world today, but the benefits of lavender were discovered over 2,500 years ago. Because of its powerful antioxidant, antimicrobial, sedative, calming and anti-depressive properties, lavender oil perks abound, and it’s been used both cosmetically and therapeutically for centuries. The Egyptians used lavender for mummification and as a perfume. In fact, when King Tut’s tomb was opened in 1923, there was said to be a faint scent of lavender that could still be detected after 3,000 years. Early and modern aromatherapy texts advocate for lavender’s use as an antibacterial essential oil. The leaves and stems of the plant were used to prepare decoctions against digestive system diseases and rheumatism, and lavender was valued for its cosmetic purposes. Research shows that the Romans used lavender oil for bathing, cooking and purifying the air. In the Bible, lavender oil was among the aromatics used for anointing and healing. Because lavender oil contains such versatile properties and is gentle enough to use directly to the skin, it’s considered a must-have oil, especially if you are just getting started with using essential oils for your health. Science has only recently started to evaluate the range of health effects that lavender essential oil contains, but there’s already an abundance of evidence that points out the amazing capabilities of this oil. Today, lavender is one of the most popular essential oils in the world- and for good reason. People are beginning to catch on to lavender oil benefits for your body as well as your home.
